KCCA Hope Fund 5.12 China Earthquake Relief Action
----- Calls for More Volunteers -----
Dear KCCA Members and friends,

What we have witnessed after the historical earthquake disaster is nothing short of extraordinary. The confirmed death toll from the disaster has risen to 32,477 by 2:00pm Sunday, and the toll would possibly rise to more than 50,000 as many, still buried in rubbles, are feared dead. So many people in the Kansas City area have stepped up and showed their remarkable supports. On behalf of KCCA, we express our greatest gratitude to those who have made their contributions and/or spent their time and efforts on this humanity cause.

In order for us to carry on this fund-raising campaign focusing rebuilding efforts on repairing and building schools and other education-related efforts, we need more volunteers to help us with various Hope Fund tasks and initiatives. We are seeking volenteers with the following skills/capabilities:
  1. Individuals who have good writing skills (English and/or Chinese) and are capble of gathering, sharing and creating quality campaign materials.
  2. Individuals who are willing to take initiativ e and complete task assigned.
  3. Individuals who have new ideas/thoughts to help raise awareness and attract more supports.
KCCA encourages everyone who is willing to help to contact us at kccaboardofdirectors@yahoo.com. Together, we will bring timely relief to those children whose lives have been devastated by this great tragedy in China.

Thank you for your attention.
